M-co has introduced a number of new marketplaces, both in New Zealand and internationally. We developed the New Zealand electricity market which went live in 1996, on time and within budget.

We also developed the retail model for the New Zealand electricity industry and developed and implemented the systems required to ensure a robust wholesale and retail market.

We have implemented (in partnership with stakeholders), electricity markets in Singapore, gas and environmental instrument markets in Australia and have also built many specific products for testing electricity markets in countries all over the world.
